Introducing the MTGu
GPS Vehicle and Equipment Locating Transmitter
The New MTGu is our new installable GPS/GSM device with built-in battery backup.
The MTGu is our newest unit in the MT series and comes with Built-In Battery Backup. At only 64.8 x61x25.6 mm is easy to install in a hidden location.
The MTGu will operate for about an hour on the internal backup battery in the event the vehicle battery is removed, disconnected, or runs low. A signal can be sent to an e-mail address when the device has reported on the backup battery.
The MTGu is also perfect for many non-traditional installations such as:
- Refrigeration Units
- Boats (waterproof enclosure required)
- Emergency Generators on trailers
- Construction Equipment (backhoe, skid-loader, front loader, forklift, etc)
- Any vehicle or device that may have the main battery disconnected in an attempt to steal the equipment or defeat the GPS Location Unit
