Truck and Trailer Theft Ring Broken

Feds and Texas Law Enforcement get thieves.

Aided by GPS Tracking Devices, the FBI and Texas DPS arrested three men accused of running a multi-million dollar truck and trailer theft and export business as equipment losses continue to plague the battered US trucking industry.  The alleged enterprise concentrated on thefts in the Houston, Texas area according to an FBI press release.  The men who "conspired to steal and transport millions of dollars of truck tractors, trailers and other heavy equipment to Central America have been sentenced to prison".

"Using GPS tracking devices attached to the truck, Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) troopers located and arrested two of the men in Live Oak County, Texas".
