The owner of this large Electrical Contracting firm uses the GPS tracking service to verify the time spent on the job. This serves two purposes. One, it identifies the time spent on the job by the employee and confirms whether or not their time card is accurate.
Second, it substantiates the time billed to the customer for the service call and on-the-job labor costs. In the past, the owner experienced problems with customers disputing bills where a service call was made but the homeowner wasn’t there or cases where the homeowner said the electrician wasn’t there as long as claimed on the bill from the company.
