About Tracker Systems

Tracker Systems, Inc. is a privately-held south Florida corporation started in 1986 by a couple of young (o.k., back then we were young) business "executives" who saw a need for a "results oriented" communications company to serve local businesses with all kinds of communications hardware and network services. The owners were already building a successful cellular phone company (started in 1984), but customers were asking for 2-way radios, office phone systems and fax machines, so to meet their needs the new company was started.

Over the years, technologies changed and customer's needs evolved. Eventually, as the company grew, the idea of providing Vehicle Location System services to our customers began to take shape. The company hired imaginative staff to design software and adapt hardware to receive GPS data, process it in the vehicle and, using the experience of 20+ years in the cellular business, transmit the GPS coordinates real-time via the national cellular grid to our servers for access by our customers. After about four years of experimentation, testing, programming, finger burns from soldering irons, and lots of coffee, the Tracker Systems network reached out nationally with our customers tracking their vehicles all over the US and into Canada.

Today, our team is dedicated exclusively to providing the best, easiest to use tracking service at the lowest cost. We are constantly developing new products for our customers, testing and refining our hardware and software. We take very seriously the ideas and opinions of our customers and we have used their input to create cutting edge new services we're working on today.
