Its weather-resistant design allows for flexible mounting options. The main GPS tracker 4G temperature unit is best installed in the reefer fairing near a power source, with the temperature probe mounted in front of the return air duct inside the trailer. The 2-wire system detects voltage changes to determine ignition, making installation simple and fast.
Easy-to-Install GPS Tracker
This trailer temperature monitoring system features a straightforward 2-wire installation: just connect to constant 12V power and ground. Install the GPS tracker 4G temperature device inside the reefer fairing near a power source, ensuring it is not obstructed by metal. Mount the temperature probe in front of the return air duct feeding the refrigeration unit, avoiding contact with trailer walls, cargo, or loading equipment.
Battery Backup
The temperature tracker includes a built-in battery backup. If power is disconnected, the device can send an alert and continue operating for approximately two hours. Note: the temperature probe does not function on battery backup.
